May 26th says the sign. That’s today!

Starting Sep. 26, a new traffic circle will be built to control the intersection of Chippewa County Highways S and Q North of Chippewa Falls. This will mean Hwy 53 Exit will be harder to access from the West Hill or the Back Entrance if Irvine Park.

After weeks of ‘Co-Workers Only’ in Kwik Trip’s beverage area, self-serve is back.

Kwik Trip has upgraded their HVAC system and made more space up front recently.

This former corner store on East Grand Avenue is under construction, gaining a gabled roof. Built in 1920, it was listed as East Hill Grocery in 1982 but wasn’t listed anymore in 1984. The building appears to have become a residence since then so please don’t try to buy groceries there! Kwik Trip is nearby after all.

Once it was Redard Brothers Hardware. This spot on East Grand Ave has been operated for many years as a family restaurant. For sale for $119,000 since the owner is retiring.

It is not winter so that means it is time for road work. This street just off State Street is under construction.
