Food & Games at Chippewa Fairgrounds

The Fair Food Shindig for September includes Fair Games and a car show on Saturday and Sunday. The Optimist Club and North American Midway are providing the food. https://www.nwsfa.com/events/2020/fair-food-shindig-september

Traffic Cams Monitor Wisconsin Drivers

Not many people think about the surveillance they are under on a daily basis, but like the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, WQOW has posted a live feed of highway traffic on their website. Wisconsin DOT camera views are also available through the 511 traffic info site. The cameras that are identified are 65 & US53@US12, I-94@Hwy 63, I-94@Hwy 312, I-94@Cty HH, I-94@US 53, I-94@Wis 29, I-94@US 12, I-94@US 10, I-94@US65 & US53@US12

The thumbnail on WQOW’s site appears to be from an elevated camera of North Bridge and Columbia Streets looking Southwest from BMO Harris Bank.

Pumphouse Road Was Open Today

Slow news Tuesday just got slower. Pumphouse Road construction was scheduled today but delayed due to inclement weather. But this much is true: something happened somewhere today, but not here.

Food Truck Round-Up 2020

Food trucks are ascendant in 2020 after clearing some legal hurdles in the last few years. Venues such as the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, Leinie Lodge, River Bend Winery, Autumn Harvest Winery, and the CVCA Heyde Center for the Arts all had regular food trucks this summer.
