Leinie Lodge is continuing to host food trucks every Friday from 4-8P. Today it is Davis Dogs. If you are wondering about the cuisine, the name and decal speak for themselves.




Pumphouse Road in the Flats neighborhood of Chippewa Falls has an extensive road project underway affecting blocks from Grady Drive to Scheidler Road.





The Chippewa Falls Public Library’s hours and services have been changing often lately. As of late August, curbside pickups is still available M-W 10-2 and Thu 2-6. The building is open for 10 people or fewer Mon-Sat and returns are available outside at all times. Grab & Go boxes are outside which include materials for child art projects and perishable food bags are there for families in need. This utility box historic photo box actually popped up in late June, but the pictures got filed. It has been a busy summer and here they are. The image is of the Northwestern Bank which was once the Seymour Bank and goes back very far in Chippewa’s history.

Fair-like food was available on a fair weather evening in August. Island Vibe and Rock n Roll to Go Plus sold sweet treats to young and old. This event is part of a concert series at the CVCA Heyde Center auditorium.
