Fall is approaching and preparation is underway for Irvine Park’s annual Christmas Village. The park in general was being enjoyed by all ages on a mild day.


West Hill traffic had to avoid a stretch of Coleman Street between Superior Street and Albert Street during blacktop work Thursday.


The fourth day of the September Fair Food Shindig concluded with classic cars and warm weather.



Summer isn’t over yet. Rosy’s food stand was set up and serving food along Highway X in Lafayette on Saturday.




The park has been open for some time but now it has a sign.


The CVCA Heyde Center served a four course meal via pickup on Thursday. The event was called Dinner Over the Duncan and generally takes place on the Marsh Rainbow Bridge along Spring Street. This year, patrons picked up to-go meals. According to cvca.net, 150 meals were served.


The Fair Food Shindig for September includes Fair Games and a car show on Saturday and Sunday. The Optimist Club and North American Midway are providing the food. https://www.nwsfa.com/events/2020/fair-food-shindig-september




















Not many people think about the surveillance they are under on a daily basis, but like the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, WQOW has posted a live feed of highway traffic on their website.
