August 2020 Library Services

The Chippewa Falls Public Library’s hours and services have been changing often lately. As of late August, curbside pickups is still available M-W 10-2 and Thu 2-6. The building is open for 10 people or fewer Mon-Sat and returns are available outside at all times. Grab & Go boxes are outside which include materials for child art projects and perishable food bags are there for families in need. And don’t forget the open wi-fi which can be accessed nearby the building or within. Just recognize that this kind of internet access comes with security risks. https://chippewafallslibrary.org/

Fair Food Shindig Carries On Dispite Downpour

The Funnel Cake stand shows signs of activity.

The day started with 1/2″ of rainfall on Chippewa’s Northside, then a lull before more emphatic rain late morning. Fair Food is on offer at the Fairgrounds but the choices are more limited than originally advertised. https://www.nwsfa.com/events/2020/fair-food-shindig-august.

Owners of classic GMC motor homes are also rallying this weekend.

Rain soaks the Fairgrounds during their food truck event.
