It would have been smarter if I had spent this sticky day inside, but taking pictures of roadside weeds and decaying buildings appeals too much to me for some reason.
A cloudburst helped release the humidity around 7PM with some brief lightning, only adding 1/10″ of rain to my gauge. I took a short hop to the Fairgrounds at 10PM to see if the virtual concert scheduled for 9 was still going, but found an empty Fairgrounds with all the lights on. Do virtual people attend virtual concerts? Not sure, but dark, lonely places are another favorite subject of mine anyway.
Update: I was told on Facebook by an attendee that the crowd got rained on but not enough to leave the event.
