A crescent moon in early evening.

After watching this waxing crescent moon disappear behind some trees, I thought back to the events of the day.

A garage sale sign stands on one side of the street while a worker in a bucket truck works up in the trees on the other side.

A utility truck was working nearby and day 2 of my neighbor’s busy sportsman’s garage sale was going on. It was advertised as a “man sale” to bring in that demographic, but there was plenty for everyone. The sale got rained on around 10AM, but the cloudburst was so short that I didn’t notice anything on the rain gauge. After that let up, picked raspberries next door while our toddler ran around.

Captain America themed stockings.

I also photographed these Marvel socks to put on Ebay later, worked on a freelance job and cleaned the freezer. Despite the bug bites incurred while photographing the moon, the day ended peacefully.
